The Brooklyn Papyrus, otherwise known as the Brooklyn Medical Papyrus, is an ancient Egyptian medical papyrus believed to have been created during the thirtieth dynasty of Egypt. The papyrus describes ailments for poisons derived from snakes, scorpions and tarantulas. Currently residing in the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Papyrus was discovered in the early 1900s. [1] [2]
