Overview

Chest X-ray is not used to diagnose air embolism. It can be used to rule out other causes of chest pain or dyspnea.

Chest X Ray

  • Chest X ray may be used to rule out other causes of chest pain and dyspnea.
  • In rare cases it may show intra-cardiac air.[1]
