Overview

Angiomas are benign tumors that can arise from blood vessels,or lymphatic channels or from the tissues surrounding them. It can either be due to dilatation of previously formed vessels or formation of new vessels. The majority of times these are isolated occurrences but they can indicate an underlying systemic disease or they can occur as part of genetic or congenital syndromes.
