MD and MBA. Clinical Pathology specialist. Lives and works at Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Active member of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. My main areas of interest are Quality Management, Accreditation and Patient Safety. I recently suffered from Leukemia and was submitted to Bone Marrow Transplants. This experience raised my interest in patient advocacy and paliative care.
