Overview
Oligodendroglioma may be classified according to the WHO classification of tumors of the central nervous system into five subtypes: oligodendroglioma (OII), anaplastic oligodendroglioma (OIII), oligoastrocytoma (OAII), anaplastic oligoastrocytoma (OAIII), and glioblastoma with oligodendroglioma component (GBMo).[1]
Classification
Oligodendroglioma may be classified according to the WHO classification of tumors of the central nervous system into five subtypes:[1]
Grade | Type of oligodendroglioma |
---|---|
WHO grade II (OII) |
|
WHO grade III (OIII) |
|
WHO grade II (OAII) |
|
WHO grade III (OAIII) |
|
WHO grade IV (GBMo) |
