Overview

Lymphangitic spread of tumor refers to tumor growth in the lymphatics of the lung.
Seen with lung, breast, GI and prostatic neoplasms

Pathological Findings

The radiographic manifestations of pulmonary lymphangitic carcinomatosis include reticular densities, Kerley B lines, and subpleural edema.
Hilar and mediastinal adenopathy may occur.
