A closer view of PHIL 12431, this photograph depicts the colonial morphology displayed by Gram-negative Burkholderia thailandensis bacteria, which was grown on a medium of sheep’s blood agar (SBA), for a 24 hour time period, at a temperature of 42°C. Also, see both PHIL 12401 and 12402, for views of this bacterial specie, grown on the same medium, but at a lesser temperature (37°C), and for twice the time (48hr). PHIL 12408 and 12409 also display B. thailandensis colonial growth on the same medium, but at the same temperature, however, at twice the time period (48hr). Finally, PHIL 12423 and 12424 display this specie’s bacterial growth, again on SBA, and for the same amount of time (24hr), but at a lesser temperature (37°C).
