Vital Signs

HEENT

Neck

Lungs

• Sometimes they do present with pleural effusion showing
  • Hyporesonance
  • Dullness to percussion
  • Decreased tactile fremitus
  • Asymmetric chest expansion

Heart

Abdomen

• Abdominal distension
• Increased abdominal girth
• Abdominal tenderness in the right/left lower abdominal quadrant
• A palpable abdominal mass in the right/left lower abdominal quadrant
• Guarding may be present
• Ascites
• Hemoperitoneum

Back

Genitourinary

• A pelvic/adnexal mass may be palpated
