Physical Examination

  • Cutaneous xanthomas, due to deposition in the skin
  • Xanthelasma
  • Tendon xanthoma, due to deposition in the tendons
  • Arthralgia
  • Corneal arcus, due to deposition in the cornea which may also be occasionally present in older adults with normal cholesterol levels(seen below)
