Overview
According to the NCCN guidelines, screening for gallbladder cancer patients is recommended with endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS)
Ultrasound
- Findings on an ultrasound suggestive of gallbladder carcinoma include:[1][2]
- Mass in the gallbladder
- Polyp in the gallbladder
- Asymmetric wall thickening of the gallbladder
- Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography of gallbladder cancer may show an eruption sign.[3][4]
