Furfenorex (Frugalan) is a stimulant drug derived from amphetamine, which was developed in the 1960s and used as an appetite suppressant for the treatment of obesity.[1] It produces methamphetamine as a metabolite,[2] and is no longer used, probably due to problems with abuse.
