The Foreskin Coverage Index is standard for measuring the amount of foreskin an individual adult male has. It was developed by Paul Sherriff, a foreskin restorer. The index ranges from coverage index (CI) 1 -10, with 1 for those with very little skin and these include those who were very tightly circumcised. CI 10 on the other hand refers to those with very long foreskins.

The coverage index is used by foreskin restorers as the base for evaluating progress in foreskin restoration.
