Dorree Lynn, Ph.D

Dorree Lynn, Ph.D. (born 1941) co-founded The Institute for the Advanced Study of Psychotherapy, an organization dedicated to the educational pursuits of psychologists and psychotherapists regardless of specialty. Practicing psychologist and published author, Dr. Lynn is regarded as an expert in mental health issues for the 50+ generation, which encompasses both the "Baby Boomers" and the "Silent Generation." She has written numerous articles for organizations focused on aging, such as, The American Society for Aging and AARP, and she is founder of the website FiftyandFurthermore.com [1].

She has been profiled as the in house therapist providing the 50+ psychological perspectives on CBS Market Watch, ABC's Good Morning America, CNN, Court TV, Fox News Channel's Special Report with Brit Hume, MSNBC, PBS, and VH1.
