Xray Chest

There are no specific chest X-ray findings for actinomycosis but pulmonary involvement may be associated with findings, which could be consistent with x-ray findings of

  • Bronchopneumonia
  • Empyema
  • Hilar and paratracheal lymphadenopathy
  • Interstitial pneumonitis
  • Lung nodules or pleural effusions.
  • Consolidation (usually non-segmental).
  • Mass like lesions.
