Overview
CT scan
CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of blind loop syndrome. Findings on CT scan suggestive of/diagnostic of blind loop syndrome include:
- focally dilated loop of small bowel
- Adjacent clips may be seen ( in case of postoperative case of blind loop syndrome)[1]
- Sometimes, faeces or air can be seen in the dilated bowel.
