Things that need to be done

COVID-19 page

  • Continue working on each section based on Dr. Gibson's feedback during the meeting
  • Suggestion to add the complications on the main page
  • Shift the gastrointestinal transmission of COVID-19 to the main pathophysiology page
  • The following link has the example code for customizing the column widths:
  • Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C)
    • Harmeet
  • Things to look at and consider:
    • Does COVID-19 causes bleeding or only hypercoagulability
    • Differentiate between the causes and the pathophysiology, Is COVID-19 the cause of the associated complications or the Cytokine storm or a yet to be known mechanism
    • Are there any autopsies where the COVID-19 virus was isolated from the brain?
    • Myocarditis: Focus on endothelitis, Autopsy studies on microthrombosis of microvasculature rather than myocardial inflammation (Myocarditis)
    • Age, Race, and Gender should be added to the epidemiology even if there is no enough information

Social Media

  • The purpose is to promote WikiDoc so make sure to add links to direct the readers to our website
  • We voted on Moises and Tayyaba's Wikidoc Home page themes proposals
