Overview

The diagnosis of cyclosporiasis is based on the history and symptoms. There are no specific physical findings for cyclospora infection, it may cause non specific signs such as dehydration, fatigue and fever.

Physical Examination

Vitals

Temperature

• Low grade fever

Pulse

• Tachycardia

Blood Pressure

• Hypotension (in case of severe dehydration)

Skin

• Pallor
• Decreased skin turgor

Abdomen

• Abdominal distention
• Abdominal tenderness
• Increased bowel sounds
