The TruTest (Total Uterine Testing) collects a tissue sample from the lining of the uterus, which can then be used to detect endometrial or cervical cancer, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and HPV.

During a routine examination, the Tao Brush completes a simple brushing of the uterine surface is less than three minutes. The brush is then sent to the laboratory at Gynecor, which processes and reviews the sample and delivers a diagnosis, usually in less than three days.

Traditionally, the only way to detect endometrial cancer was with an endometrial biopsy. With the traditional method a small suction tube was inserted which then vacuumed away a portion of the uterine lining. The procedure is often painful and does not always collect enough tissue to be processed. The Tao Brush method is much gentler, almost always collects enough tissue and samples a much larger area of the uterus, which results in more thorough and accurate results.
