Template:Check talk

You don't need to be Editor-In-Chief to add or edit content to WikiDoc. You can begin to add to or edit text on this WikiDoc page by clicking on the edit button at the top of this page. Next enter or edit the information that you would like to appear here. Once you are done editing, scroll down and click the Save page button at the bottom of the page.

This template is invisible except under the conditions described below.

Usage

{{check talk}} may be incorporated into other templates that are intended to be used only on talk pages. If a template containing it is added to a page in any main namespace, then a warning message will be displayed encouraging people to use that template only on talk pages. The current text of the warning message is:

This template is misplaced. It belongs on the talk page: Template talk:Check talk.

It also adds the pages to Category:Main pages with misplaced talk page templates for easier tracking and rectification.

Templates that incorporate the check talk template will be added to Category:Templates using check talk template.
