Usage

{{Access icon|width|alt text}}

Both the parameters are optional.

  • The width is in pixels, and should be followed by px. For example, {{Access icon|20px}} produces the symbol at 20 pixels wide: Image:Handicap reverse.svg. If the width parameter is omitted, the default width is 12 pixels.
  • The alt text is the text that screen readers will see. The MediaWiki software also automatically uses it as the tooltip when users hover the cursor over the image. The default text is "Handicapped/disabled access".
