Maclyn McCarty

Maclyn McCarty (June 9, 1911January 2, 2005) was an American geneticist. In 1944 he, Oswald Avery and Colin MacLeod followed up on Griffith's experiment. Their experimental results showed that the genetic material of living cells is composed of DNA.
