A number of tumors have giant cells, but are not true benign giant cell tumors. These include
- Aneurysmal bone cyst
- Chondroblastoma
- Simple bone cyst
- Osteoid osteoma
- Osteoblastoma
- Osteosarcoma
- Giant cell reparative granuloma
- Brown tumor of hyperparathyroidism.
